If you arrive at opening time, use the entrance to the park inside the Rainforest Cafe.
If you are feeling hot, head to the Muppets show for a nice airconditioned rest!
If there are two showings of Fantasmic! during your visit, the later one is usually quieter. When leaving the show, use the stairs at the front, nearest the exit. ‘Fantasmic!’ is only available on selected days.
If only one or two of your party want to ride on one of the main attractions, such as The Incredible Hulk Coaster or Dragon Challenge, use the single rider line. Whilst it’s not guaranteed that two of you will sit together, the wait time will be significantly less.
Hiring buggies can be costly in the parks but you can pick a cheap one up in Walmart for about $15 dollars.
Hire a cabana for the day and use it as a base for your family to enjoy the day.
Have a plan B for rainy days. For example, Innoventions in Epcot’s Future World, DisneyQuest Interactive Theme Park and the Lego Imagination Center at Downtown Disney are all good indoor options.
Hand-feed sea lions, dolphins and stingrays in various areas. Check feeding times when you arrive at the park and plan to get there early so you don’t miss out (additional costs apply).
The Astronaut Hall of Fame is located about seven miles from the main visitor centre so don’t forget to stop by on your way back to Orlando. Admission to The Kennedy Space Center also gives you free access to this attraction. It takes about 50 minutes to drive from International Drive to The Kennedy Space Center, or around 75 minutes from the Kissimmee area.
Guided tours, led by experienced education specialists, take guests behind the scenes where they can witness the rehabilitation of rescued animals or even touch a shark or penguin. Tours can be easily booked at the front entrance.
