Pick up a park map and show schedule early so you can plan your day accordingly. To see the animals at their most active, visit habitats in the morning or evening when the weather is cooler and save water rides and air-conditioned shows for the heat of afternoon. It’s best to visit the most popular rides in the late afternoon or early evening, when the lines are shorter.

Photocopy your theme park tickets and while you’re at it also photocopy passports and give copies to a relative in the UK just in case.
