Your journey begins with a hotel transfer from Brisbane CBD to Redcliffe Jetty, where you'll set sail aboard the luxury vessel Eye Spy. Brisbane Whale Watching holds one of only three exclusive government permits granted to operate in this marine park, ensuring an uninterrupted experience up close with these amazing creatures.
Led by pioneer Captain Kerry Lopez, the only female captain in the South Pacific rim to own and skipper a whale-watching enterprise. This tour guarantees whale sightings and the chance to spot other diverse marine life.
Enjoy a fresh gourmet picnic lunchbox onboard (including roast chicken, garden salad, potato salad, fruit and more) as you marvel at the whales breaching and playing right next to the boat.
A portion of every ticket is donated to ongoing marine research with whale conservation organizations.
Essential Tour Information
Operating Season: Daily from June to November (weather permitting).
Pick-ups & Transfers: Hotel pick-ups from Brisbane CBD commence between 7:45 AM and 8:45 AM.
Cruise Departure: Boarding starts at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM departure from Redcliffe Jetty.
Return & Duration: Returns to the jetty by 2:30 PM. Total tour duration is approximately 7–8 hours (~5 hours on the water).
Onboard Facilities: Live informative commentary, licensed bar, snack and souvenir counter.

Terms & Conditions
- Brisbane Whale Watching’s tours are always subject to sea conditions. The team constantly monitors weather and respond professionally to any changes. Guest comfort and safety is always the priority. Should a cruise be cancelled due to tide and / or weather conditions, a seat on the next available cruise will be offered or a full refund will be given.
- Dress warmly and wear flat shoes. If you wish to spend time on the outside decks of the vessel, you may like to wear a light waterproof wind-jacket.
- Please note the vessel is Wheelchair accessible, however the bus transfer does not have wheelchair access.
- A licensed bar, snack and souvenir counter is available at your own expense.
- Boarding commences at 9.00am for a 10.00m departure
- The tour returns back to the Redcliffe Jetty at 2.30pm. Hotel drop offs at between 04:00pm and 05:00pm.
- Children aged between 3-14 years pay a child price.
- Please note - Infants aged 0-2 years will be charged $50.00 for the bus transfer service. This is payable locally.
Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 48 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 48-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
