There is the choice of two tickets - those wishing to swim with Dolphins must purchase the Dolphin Swim ticket. If you just want to accompany friends and family who are swimming with dolphins, purchase the Non-Dolphin Swim Ticket. This includes all the same elements except the Dolphin Interaction Session.
The Dolphin Swim consists of a 10-15 minute introduction with the trainers followed by a 30-minute group session with the Dolphins.
You do not need to be an experienced swimmer to swim with Dolphins. Life Jackets are provided and you do not need to go out of your depth should you not wish to do so.
In order to ensure everyone's safety, participants must be able to comprehend safety-instructions in English.
All bookings for Discovery Cove are subject to 100% cancellation fees within 30 days of your booked visit. There can be no refunds for amendments (for example to change from Dolphin Swim to Non-Dolphin Swim) or cancellations within this period.
Terms & Conditions
- This Discovery Cove 2026 Early Booking Offer is only available to purchase until 31 July 2025 for Discovery Cove visits from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
- Saving amounts vary throughout the year. The maximum saving of 28% per person is valid when purchasing a Discovery Cove Day Only Experience with Dolphin Swim and visiting Discovery Cove between 1 January-13 February 2026, 31 August-11 October 2026 or 16 November-14 December 2026.
- The top saving amount is correct as of 1 June 2025 but may fluctuate due to dynamic pricing and changing foreign currency exchange rates.
- Discovery Cove is a reservation-only experience. A visit date to Discovery Cove must be selected when booking.
- Your Discovery Cove ticket also includes a gate-ready barcode for admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica. Visits to SeaWorld and Aquatica may be taken before or after your visit to Discovery Cove.
Dolphin Swim Tickets
- Those wishing to swim with Dolphins must purchase a Dolphin Swim ticket.
- Guests must be at least 6 years old AND 42 inches tall to swim with dolphins.
- Children between 6-12 years old participating in the dolphin swim experience must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the dolphin swim experience. There is no minimum adult-to-child ratio, so one adult can accompany more than one child.
- To ensure everyone's safety, participants must be able to comprehend safety instructions in English.
Child Tickets & Information
- Children 6 years and older and above 42 inches tall can choose either a Dolphin Swim ticket or a Non-Dolphin Swim Ticket.
- Children 3-5 years old must purchase a Discovery Cove Non-Swim Ticket for admission to Discovery Cove, SeaWorld, Aquatic and Busch Gardens.
- Infants 0-2 years old enter the parks free of charge and do not need an admission ticket.
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry to Discovery Cove.
- Any minor under the age of 18 years participating in the dolphin swim experience must have a “Minor” waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian. If a parent is not present at check-in, they will need to complete a liability release form before the day at Discovery Cove and those accompanying the child will need to bring the completed form as well as a photocopy of the parent’s Driving License or Passport to verify their signature. Please contact us should you need a form sent with your Discovery Cove documents.
*Cancellation & Amendments
- Free cancellations for bookings cancelled with the supplier more than 30 days before your booked Discovery Cove visit. No refunds are given for cancellations within 30 days of your booked visit. There are also no refunds for amendments (for example, to change from Dolphin Swim to Non-Dolphin Swim) or cancellations within 30 days of your booked Discovery Cove visit.
