Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay returns in full force, taking over the entire park with an unmatched blend of thrill rides, haunted houses, eerie entertainment and more! The screaming starts on 5 September 2025 and runs until 2 November 2025.

Howl-O-Scream is bringing fear to the next level and once you’re in there’s nothing to fear but everything....! Experience the fully immersive fear at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay during select dates between 5 September and 2 November 2025.

Unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream, including the park's pulse-pounding thrill rides!

  • Haunted Houses - Dark minds have been brewing new ways to terrify those brave enough to enter our sinister haunted houses with new unsuspecting scares.
  • Scare Zones & Unpredictable Hordes - The scares are everywhere as new terrors lurk in every corner of the park. Experience screams and frights at any moment as you make your way through several scare zones. Plus, with roaming hordes, the horror awaits at every twist and turn.
  • Sinister Shows - Don't miss spirited productions that are said to be "worth dying for".
  • Pulse-Pounding Attractions - With exhilarating coasters and thrilling attractions, guests can take on their favourite rides in the dark between the Howl-O-Scream's frights and scares. Bring your fears to new heights on Iron Gwazi and SheiKra, then let the adrenaline rush as you launch into the shadows of Cheetah Hunt & Tigris.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay starts at 7.00pm each event night. From this time, you will be free to explore the haunted houses, scare zones and shows on offer throughout the park, plus enjoy the unique chance to ride the coasters in the dark. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay ends at midnight.

Redemption

  • Download ticket(s) directly to your smartphone (or print in advance if you do not have a smartphone) and present the Busch Gardens park entrance when prompted.
  • Howl-O-Scream Tickets are open-dated; guests do not have to select their chosen event date in advance.

Entitlements

  • Howl-O-Scream tickets are only valid for ONE Howl-O-Scream 2025 event at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Tickets are valid only during normal event operating hours.
  • 2025 Event Dates: September: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 28; October: 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31; November: 1, 2. Event dates are subject to change without notice. Please check event dates ahead of your visit.
  • The Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream event starts at 7.00pm and closes at midnight. Event hours are subject to change without notice. Guests with a valid Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream ticket can enter the park from 5.00pm. Event hours and dates are subject to change without notice. Please check in advance of your visit.
  • Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens occurs rain or shine. No rain checks, returns or refunds due to inclement weather.
  • The Howl-O-Scream event at Busch Gardens is geared towards an adult audience due to the nature of the scare zones and haunted houses. This event contains intense adult content such as violence, gore, and blood. While this event is intended for adults only, children under 18 will be admitted to the event at their parents’ discretion. There is no discounted rate for children.
  • Costumes are not permitted, and guests wearing costumes will be refused entry.
  • All Day Dining is not valid during Howl-O-Scream events.
