Blue Mountains - Hike The World Heritage

Escape the city and dive into the wild beauty of the Blue Mountains on this full-day hiking tour. From cuddly koalas and dramatic lookouts to ancient forests and epic waterfalls, this experience blends luxury travel with unforgettable natural wonders, all just a short drive from Sydney.

Leave the city behind and immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Blue Mountains on this full-day hiking adventure. With expert guides, small groups and luxury transport, this tour blends iconic sights, local wildlife and jaw-dropping scenery into one unforgettable experience.

The day begins with a hotel pick-up, where you’ll meet your guide and fellow adventurers before heading west toward the mountains. Your first stop is Calmsley Hill, a working farm and wildlife sanctuary where you can enjoy a relaxed morning tea surrounded by native animals like kangaroos, emus, wombats and koalas. It’s the perfect introduction to Australia’s incredible natural heritage.

From there, you’ll journey deep into the heart of the Blue Mountains, visiting a selection of remote lookouts with sweeping views over the Jamison Valley. These stops are carefully chosen to avoid the crowds and give you a more peaceful connection with the landscape. One highlight is Eaglehawk Lookout, where you’ll get a stunning view of the famous Three Sisters rock formation, along with the fascinating Aboriginal legend behind it.

The real adventure begins at Evans Lookout, where you’ll be given a lunch pack and detailed instructions for one of the most scenic hikes in the region. The trail from Evans Lookout to Govetts Leap takes you across rugged ridges and lush valleys, with constant views of the dramatic Grose Valley, often called Australia’s Grand Canyon. It’s a moderately challenging hike with big rewards, culminating in the breathtaking sight of Govetts Leap, where waterfalls plunge 180 metres into the gorge below.

To round out the day, you’ll visit the beautiful Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, home to a collection of unique native plants and the ancient Wollemi Pine, a species once thought to be extinct. After a short walk through the gardens, you’ll head back to Sydney, arriving at your hotel between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
