Blue Mountains - Hike The World Heritage

Commence on a full day tour into the heart of the unique Blue Mountains World Heritage Region to visit stunning lookout locations, and learn of the history, flora and fauna of the region.

A short drive away from Sydney, the Blue Mountains are a wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests that are begging to be explored.

The first stop on this action-packed excursion is Calmsley Hill, a working farm-based attraction involved in animal rehabilitation offering fabulous bush surrounds located near the heart of Sydney.

You'll arrive early to get up close to a range of native and farmyard animals including Kangaroos and Koalas while enjoying a light morning tea.

Next, drive to the Blue Mountains and discover spectacular views of the Jamison Valley before pushing on to Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote view point with stunning vistas of the famous Three Sisters - a magnificent rock formation whose colours change throughout the day.

Your guide will explain some of the legends behind the famous rock and give you time to take some snaps.

Travelling around the mountains, arrive at Evans Lookout. This is the starting point for one of the area's most scenic hikes and once you clap eyes on the some of the many viewpoints along the easy-going track you'll know why.

Here you will also be issued with your lunch pack and instructions on the hiking track.

This is one of the most scenic hikes available in the mountains, taking you across a number of valleys and ridges as you hike from Evans Lookout to Govett's Leap, all the while looking out across Australia's Grand Canyon, The Grose Valley - the magnificent waterfalls drop a whopping 180 metres to the base of the cliff.

The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens to enjoy the sweeping views across Sydney before travelling back to your hotel.
