Bateaux Parisiens Dinner Cruise

Enjoy sumptuous cuisine and delicious wines as you gently float past the wonderful Paris illuminations on this delightful dinner cruise in a fully glass covered boat along the historic River Seine.

Experience stunning night-time views of central Paris through the glass top of your boat as you enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Seine and a superb 4-course gourmet dinner aboard a vessel from renowned Bateaux Parisiens.

Embark close to the magnificent Eiffel Tower and sail down the River Seine enjoying views of the wonderful landmarks including Les Invalides, the Musee D’Orsay and the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral.

The boat travels as far as the Bibliotheque Nationale De France before returning back to the Eiffel Tower past the Hotel De Ville, The Louvre and the Grand Palais. The boats are entirely glassed over ensuring an unobstructed view of Paris in all its evening glory.

All meals are prepared freshly aboard the boat with attention devoted to quality and presentation and each service option includes a quarter of a bottle of wine and mineral water to accompany your dinner.

Additional drinks must be purchased on board. A singer and three musicians entertain you on this cruise with a variety of French and international music for listening to or dancing.

Options

There is a choice of 4 service categories. Each service option includes the same à la carte menu (choice of 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts), but aperitifs, choice of wine, cheese selection and table locations vary.

  • Etoile Service: General located tables seating 2 to 10 persons only.
    À la carte menu with starter, main course and dessert. Drinks include Blanc de Blancs kir aperitif served with cheese sticks, choice of wines - Pays d'Oc Chardonnay Viognier or Corbières Domaine Georges Bertrand - mineral water, coffee. There is a child option available on this service.
  • Découvert Service: Panoramic View tables seating 2 to 10 persons only.
    Welcome glass of champagne served with cheese sticks. Tasting menu with 2 starters, 2 main dishes and 2 desserts, shown with '*' on sample menu below. Drinks include Pays d'Oc Chardonnay Viognier or Corbières Domaine Georges Bertrand - mineral water, coffee.
  • Privilège Service: Table by a large window seating 2 to 4 persons only.
    À la carte menu with starter, main course, selection of mature cheeses and dessert. Drinks include a welcome glass of Champagne, choice of wines - Mâcon Villages, Puisseguin Sain-Emilion Les Hauts du Bourdonnais - mineral water, miniature pastries served with coffee.
  • Premier Service: Great seats at a round table at front the boat, seating 2 to 10 persons only.
    À la carte menu with starter, main course, selection of mature cheeses and dessert. Drinks include a glass of Champagne as an aperitif served with cheese sticks, choice of wines - Mâcon Villages, Saint-Estèphe Demoiselles de Sequana, glass of Cuvée Béthanie Arbois served with the cheese course, glass of Champagne served with the dessert, mineral water, miniature pastries served with coffee.

Starters

  • Mildly spiced South-West region duck foie gras and pear compote with star anise
  • Scallops with gremolata sauce, chestnut chips and a fine butternut squash cream
  • Salmon marinated in beetroot served with a confit winter caponata tart
  • Bordeaux-style snails, risotto-style celeriac and Bresaola chips

Main Course

  • Rossini-style beef, potato mousseline and truffled coulis
  • Roast sea bass, Haute Provence einkorn and Nantua sauce
  • Duckling fillet, pear poached in wine, polenta rustica and cranberry jus
  • Blanquette-style veal rump, gnocchi and stewed fairy ring mushrooms

Choice of desserts

  • Apple and prune compote topped with cheesecake mousse a dried fruit biscuit crisp
  • Coconut Vacherin cake with winter fruit coulis
  • Passion fruit Bundt cake
  • Soft chocolate and pear cake

(Not included with the Etoile or Découvert Service - you can choose to either have cheese instead of dessert or include cheese for a €5 supplement payable locally)

Vegetarian option is available on request - Creamy leek and potato soup, smoked haddock and peppered whipped cream

Dress Code:

Casual attire can be worn for brunch. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers and flip-flops are not permitted on-board at any time.

  • Advanced reservations are required. Please detail your chosen date at the time of booking.
  • Dress code is smart casual. Gentleman are encouraged to wear a jacket. No shorts, jeans or trainers are permitted.
  • Ticket includes guaranteed private table, 1/4 bottle of wine with dinner, mineral water and coffee. Additional drinks can be purchased on board.
  • The cruise departs from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, customers will need to make their own way to the departure point.
  • Boarding starts at 7.30pm and the boat departs at 8.30pm. The cruise will not wait for late arrivals.
  • Children are welcome onboard although the cruise is not recommended for children under 3. Please note infants could be subject to an additional insurance charge (approximately €30) payable locally.
  • There is a child rate available on the Etoile Service for guests under 12. This can't be combined with other levels of service.

  • Please note: Bags are systematically checked and all jackets and coats must be opened for inspection at the entrance. Baggage over 16 litres in volume (apart from small backpacks, handbags and computer bags) are no longer accepted onboard.
