Vegas can reach very high temperatures, especially in the summer months. But don't forget the casinos are much cooler, so keep a cardigan or jacket with you so you can adjust to the temperature changes!

Dont take a taxi on the strip , the traffic is horrendous and can be expensive for a very short ride. Walk or use the monorail.

Take water from the peddlers on the streets and be sure to tip them a dollar, as the water itself is free.
