Stomp Tickets - Off Broadway

Experience the magic come to life as dance, music and comedy come together in this fantastic theatrical performance. An outstanding percussive symphony played on unusual instruments, Stomp is totally unique. An authentic display of talent with constant surprises, you’ve never seen anything like it!

A combination of music, dance and theatrical performance comes together to make an extraordinary show unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Originating in Brighton, the one-of-a-kind show was created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, until its increasing popularity eventually brought it to New York City. Stomp has been lighting up the New York theatre stage for over 20 years now and continues to captivate audiences with its breath-taking performance every time. The New York Times describes it as being “as crisp and exuberant as if it opened yesterday”. This long-running off-Broadway show is all about rhythm; completely wordless, the music speaks for itself.

An energetic percussive symphony performed entirely on unconventional instruments, the 8-piece troupe use dustbin lids, buckets, brooms, sticks and anything else they can find to create the electrifying musical numbers. Witness a mesmerising display where normal everyday household objects are transformed into unique instruments, producing a totally original sound. From a crashing crescendo of the drums played on trash cans, to the soft sound of someone tapping a matchbox, Stomp proves to the audience that sometimes the things we consider insignificant are worth paying attention to.

You won’t be able to take your eyes off the stage as the music begins and the show bursts into life. The characters communicate with each other through the medium of sound and manage to incur bouts of laughter from the audience without even saying a word. Get to know each of them individually as they share their musical story with you throughout the show in their own special way. Joyful, humorous and uplifting, Stomp does not disappoint. The dynamic performance is packed with energy right from the start and when the thunderous drumming kicks in, it’s time to get ready for a night you’ll never forget. Fast-paced with plenty of spontaneity, this incredible production provides outstanding entertainment you could never get bored of. Step out of the ordinary and experience something new. Entertaining, exciting and full of life, Stomp is an absolute must-see!
