Niagara Falls from Toronto

If you're in Toronto you simply must visit Niagara Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders in the world. Niagara Falls is just a couple of hours away from the city and is so famous that it hardly needs an introduction or description.

Travel on an air-conditioned motorcoach for a breathtaking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world.

The Canadian side of the falls (commonly called The Horseshoe Falls) is far more spectacular than the US side and an amazing 3 million litres of water pour over the falls every second while another 3 million litres of water per second are diverted to hydro electric power stations.

In addition to plenty of free time to explore the Falls, your day tour to Niagara Falls includes a buffet lunch at Niagara Falls, surrounded by panoramic views of the falls and after you'll take a memorable tour of the falls on the legendary Hornblower boat ride (formerly Maid in the Mist).

If the boats aren't operating (end October to mid-April depending on weather conditions), you can take a close-up 'Journey Behind the Falls' to stand in the mist behind the thundering Horseshoe Falls.

You will then be given free time to explore Niagara Falls on your own before finishing with a stop at a local winery with wine tasting on the way back to Toronto.
