Meares Island Sea Kayaking from Tofino

This fantastic sea kayaking adventure takes you from the bustle of Tofino harbour to the pristine nearby waters where lush rainforest, photogenic beaches and soothing tidal flats surround you.

With the west coast wilderness only a few minutes away, board your kayak and launch out of Tofino to explore the pristine inlet waters and ancient coastal rainforest of Clayoquot Sound.

Your destination is Meares Island where birdlife abounds along the shorelines as you'll discover when you unobtrusively observe from the water.

Once at the island, land on the shore and take a short hike into the remarkable rainforest where you can experience the wonder of giant cedars in the ancient coastal forest.
