Krakow Bike Tour

Explore Krakow like a local as you cycle through the city to view some popular tourist highlights as well as a few off-the-beaten track locales. The leisurely route leads through the Old Town, Kazimierz and Podgórze, mostly along cycling paths and small streets with little or no traffic.

This cycling tour of Krakow begins in the main town square where you will be fitted with your own Beachcruiser bike before heading into the Old Town to admire the beautiful Renaissance architecture.

See the Main Market Square, the Czartoryski Museum, the main gate, the Old City walls and more.

Continue with a ride along the Planty gardens to the Jaggiloninan University, where you walk inside the medieval courtyard and listen and watch as figures representing Queens of Poland's history chime the hour.

Also see the Bishop's Palace for a glance at the famous window of Pope John Paul II, before glimpsing the old residence of Oscar Schindler.

The route then takes you to the Kazimierz, the old Jewish part of town. See the Jewish cemetery, the Jewish ghetto from World War II and also the factory of Oscar Schindler made famous by Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List.

Riding back to the centre of town along the Vistula River, you'll see the fire-breathing dragon of Wawel castle before making stops to talk about John Paul II and the university life in Krakow.

Throughout, your guide will talk about the history, Krakow nightlife, Polish football hooligans, life in the ghetto and everything you could possibly want to know about Schindler’s List.
