Hanoi City Tour - Private Tour

A great introduction to beautiful Hanoi, this private city tour covers the leading sites and immerses you in Vietnamese history and culture. See the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology before ending your day with a relaxing cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.

Renowned as the ‘Paris of the East’, Hanoi is one of Asia’s most delightful cities and draws its influences from both French and Chinese culture.

Your day starts by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place before moving on to the One Pillar Pagoda (Mot Cot).

According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower and the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Quoc Tu Giam, which was Vietnam’s first university and boasts charming gardens and well-preserved architecture before stopping at The Opera House.

Home to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake, take a walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple which is set on a tiny island - a great place for a memorable photo.

Recharge the batteries with a traditional Vietnamese lunch of Pho (pronounced FUR!) before visiting the National Museum of Vietnam History - It’s a wonderful museum and your experience will be enhanced by a private guide to give further details on the exhibits.

Stop in Ham Tu Quan for an enjoyable one-hour cyclo ride through the '36 streets' of the Old Quarter. After a little light shopping & possibly an ‘Egg Coffee’ (ask your guide!), you will then be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the evening.
