Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge

Take the Skyride to the summit of Grouse Mountain for breathtaking aerial views of Vancouver and surrounds before enjoying a visit to the world-renowned Capilano Suspension Bridge for an awe-inspiring treetop walk.

This tour comprises a collection of Vancouver experiences and includes two of the area's outstanding highlights; Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

The itinerary begins by crossing the magnificent Lions Gate Bridge and head to a Salmon Fish hatchery for your first stop of the day. Here you can learn all about the life-cycle of salmon which are hugely important in West Coast cuisine.

Next, you will be taken to the Capilano Suspension Bridge – arguably Vancouver’s most famous attraction. Originally built in 1889, the structure stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River and Canyon.

Once you’ve crossed the bridge, you’ll be rewarded by seeing the traditional totem pole carvers, the nature park & rainforest and the twin peaks of The Lions, a pair of mountains nestled along Vancouver's North Shore. There is also a chance to experience the Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges that take you through the evergreen canopy at 100 feet.

Continue on to the base of Grouse Mountain where you board the Skyride, a scenic gondola ride that will whisk you on a spectacular one mile aerial journey to the mountain summit.

At the top, as well as admiring the stunning views over downtown Vancouver and surrounds, you can also visit orphaned Grizzly Bears and Grey Wolves at the protected Refuge for Endangered Wildlife and enjoy the magic of ‘Theatre in the Sky’.
