Enjoy a morning tour of some of the Eternal City's most famous sites including the Trevi Fountain, the impressive Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps before heading across to the Vatican to explore St Peter’s Bascila and the magnificent museums including the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s most famous work.

Enjoy a morning walking tour wandering along Rome's streets taking in hidden gems and lively piazzas in the historical core of the city. Among the many highlights are the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona. Your tour starts at the Campo dei Fiori, one of the most characteristic squares in Rome with its open-air market. Next to Campo de Fiori we will admire the magical charm of Piazza Farnese and then Palazzo Spada. The building is worth a stop thanks to the brilliance of forced prospective introduced by the famous architect Borromini. Continue to Piazza Navona, a traditional baroque square that was once a stadium built by Caesar Domiziano in 92 A.C. Today it is known as the square of artists and is one of the most famous piazzas in the city. The Four Rivers Fountain by Bernini dominates the piazza and dates from the seventeenth century and you will also see Borrominis famed church S.Agnese in Agone.

A ten minute walk from Piazza Navona brings you to Piazza della Rotonda, home to the unmistakable structure of the Pantheon, one of Rome's most famous buildings. This architectural wonder of the Ancient Rome is the burial place of Raffaello and its architecture has been admired and studied by many Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo. After a visit inside the Pantheon, the tour continues to the Fountain of Trevi. Arguably the most famous fountain in Rome, it was designed by Nicolas Salvi in the XVIII c and is the very last example of the magnificent baroque art.

Your Morning walking tour concludes with a visit to Piazza di Spagna, home of the Spanish Steps and one of the most atmospheric spots in the city. Here you can admire the Spanish Steps and the Fontana della Barcaccia made by Pietro Bernini.

Head to a local restaurant for a typical Italian lunch with drinks before commencing on a tour of the Vatican. As you arrive at the Vatican admire the beautiful architecture of St. Peters Basilica and St Peters Square before meeting your guide close to the entrance to the Vatican Musuems. Here you are given your skip-the-line admission ticket.

Enter the Vatican Museums, taking in the beautiful Spiral staircase and accompanied by your guide, discover some of the treasures contained within the 2000 rooms and 14 kilometres of corridors. Highlights include the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgment by Michelangelo. Also see the Rooms of Raphael and Ancient Roman and Greek pieces in the Belvedere Courtyard. Each guest will be given a personal headset so you can listen to the guide's enthusiastic commentary which provides a full background on the Sistine Chapel from before it was commissioned to the finishing touches while distinguishing between truth and popular legends promulgated by Hollywood and popular books.

Afterwards head to magnificent St. Peters Basilica, the largest Church in the world, where you will find golden mosaics, several Tombs of Popes and Michelangelo's most important statue 'La Pietà'. Also see the massive Baldacchino sculpted in bronze by Bernini, the Transfiguration by Raphael and other monuments of artistic importance. Your tour concludes in St Peter's Square where you view Bernini's impressive colonnade and learn about the history of the Vatican State including its Swiss Guard and the design of St Peters Square.
