A Day in the Rainforest

Enjoy the sights of a waterfall and a flowing river which cuts through a beautiful collection of trees and plants and learn more about the fragile forest ecosystem and its importance to the future of the globe.

This itinerary is specially designed to introduce you to the wonders and beauty of a primary tropical rainforest all while staying in Kuala Lumpur.

The journey to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, located in the outskirts of the city, will take approximately an hour. Along the way you pass through typical Malay Villagers and get a chance to see the locals going about their daily business.

After a brief stop at an aboriginal museum - see displays of weapons used for hunting, clothing made from free barks, traditional musical instruments and more - it's time to explore the jungle in greater depth.

An introduction of the place and planned activities will be carried out immediately an arrival before the fun begins.

Walk through shady nature trails and visit arboretums as your guide leads the way, explaining the sights and sounds as you breathe in the fresh air and go jungle trekking in the beautiful forest.

Explore the beautiful ground from the surface and from the treetops courtesy of the 150m-long Canopy Walk which takes in incredible views and landscapes.
