Bangkok Grand Palace Tour

You simply cannot visit Bangkok without viewing the Grand Palace complex and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today.

The Grand Palace complex is unquestionably a must-see for all visitors to Bangkok as you will discover on this fascinating guided tour.

A mixture of traditional Thai architecture with European influences, this sprawling area was once the official home of the King of Siam and the regal flavour is still evident in the state rooms and grounds.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Funerary Hall and the Royal Coronation Hall, however, the undoubted highlight of the Grand Palace complex is Wat Phra Keow or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

This wonderful collection of pagodas, stupas, frescos and mosaics lie under arching roofs of red and gold while the star attraction is a stunning 45 centimetre Emerald Buddha.

Carved from a single piece of Jade, the Buddha is one of the holiest and most revered religious objects in modern day Thailand.
