Scale Germany’s highest peak by Cable car and cogwheel train! The view from the top of Zugspitze is amazing and it is said that on a clear day you can see 1000 different Bavarian, Austrian, Italian and Swiss mountain peaks.

Travel south to the Austrain border where you will find Zugspitze, Germany’s tallest mountain standing at over 9780ft tall. On the way you will visit the Ettal Monastary and get a glimpse of the lives of the Benedictine monks living there before travelling onto the Garmisch-Partenkirchen region and arriving at Eibsee, and it is from here that you will take a cable-car to the summit of Zugspitze. On the descent you will travel on board the Zugspitzbahn, a cogwheel train.
