At Xel Ha you will enjoy the Mexican indigenous world through the crystal clear waters of this spectacular natural aquarium. Dip into the underwater world by snorkel, go cliff diving off beautiful cliffs and zip line or canoe across large underground water holes. The park offers an abundance of full on activities in stunning surroundings that are truly out of this world. An environment of creeks, lagoons, wells and ancient caves is fed by underground rivers flowing out to the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Explore the underwater world by snorkel and come face to face with exotic underwater flora and fauna including curious rays and schools of Angel fish. Other activities (additional price, payable locally) include cliff diving, rope swing diving, rope bridge walking, bicycling, kayaking, scuba diving and much more!

Take an Eco-Tour (subject to availability) and walk through the Caribbean jungle, across a hanging bridge and through the natural habitat of the Loro Fish. Then your guide will lead you to explore a Mayan Cave and learn about the importance of Xel-Ha which once served as a commercial port. You’ll also visit two underwater grottoes: Aventura Cenote and Cenote Paraiso. If you’re feeling adventurous, head to “brave stone” for an exciting challenge. Other highlights on the tour include the Nursery Garden where you can explore natural medicine and Mayan culture, the Bee Nest where you learn about the healing honey produced by the Sacred Mayan Bee and the Orchid Garden.

 

Optional Dolphin Swim
Guests can spend an hour swimming with the dolphins. The dolphin program is one of the highest rated programs in the world and includes dolphin tricks and the one of a kind “foot push” just like you’ve seen on TV.
