You will leave this fascinating tour relaxed after gaining an appreciation for the different wines produced in Canterbury’s finest wine growing region, including the distinctive Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays for which the area is famous.

 

This tour will take you to four of the many vineyards in New Zealand’s relatively new, yet fastest growing wine region, The Waipara Valley, to taste over 20 wines from the area.  You will be presented with a delicious complimentary winery platter lunch and will explore the vineyards, learning how the wine is made.  In many instances you will meet the wine makers themselves to get an insight into the varieties of wine produced in the region.
