Tsitsikamma is one of South Africa’s natural wonders. Situated at the heart of the Garden Route, this verdant tropical forest reaches out to the ocean and is home to a host of exotic wildlife including lemurs, apes and monkeys.

• Hotel pick-up and drop off from Knysna hotels (for guests staying in private residences or outside the city, you will be advised of the nearest pick-up point
• Stroll through the beautiful Tsitsikamma Forest and view the 1000 year old Outeniqua yellowwood tree.

Appreciate one of South Africa’s nature wonders, the spectacular costal rainforest of Tsitskamma. The drive towards Tsitskamma is a beautiful steep descent through lush vegetation offering wonderful views of the rainforest’s boundaries that reach out to sea. Stroll through this ancient forest and view the 1000 year old Outeniqua yellowwood tree before visiting the Tsitsikamma Coastal Nature Reserve. Afterwards there is a brief stop for lunch (own expense, payable locally) at the Storms River Mouth Restaurant before heading to the highest bungy jump in the world (216 metres). There is an optional chance (additional charge, payable locally) to try the bungy jump for those that are brave enough. Continue to Monkeyland to see rescued lemurs, apes and monkeys from several continents, cross the rope bridge across a canyon to get great view of the forest and enjoy macaws, cockatoos, parrots in their natural environment. The return back to Knysna takes you via Pletterberg Bay where there is a short stop to explore this coastal town.
