This class will help you get a much better understanding and knowledge about French wine Six wines (including one Champagne), carefully selected for quality will be served – always with generosity! You will leave the room knowing your way around French wine and feeling more comfortable ordering French wine at a restaurant.
You will taste a variety of wines from six regions of France from Champagne to Bordeaux, from Sancerre to the Rhone. Learn how to express the smell and taste of each wine, plus your friendly sommelier will give you great tips on how to read a French label, navigate a wine list and perhaps most importantly the strategies for pairing wine and food. The class is great fun and you will even learn how to slurp wine with class!
The Tour de France of Wine will take place at Les Caves du Paradis, formerly the Anciennes Caves du sommelier de Louis XV - an exceptional venue which used to be the King Louis XV sommelier’s cellar! The cellar is just a short walk from the metro station "Louvre-Rivoli".
