Depart Sharm El Sheikh and head through the desert on the 120 kilometre drive to the magnificent Coloured Canyon. Formed by the elements over millions of years, Sinai’s Coloured Canyon is a natural phenomenon that stretches for over a kilometre and looks like a set from an Indiana Jones film. Enjoy an hour long walk through the canyon and explore the natural maze and steep walls that cascade with colours including yellow, red, purple and gold. The return journey to Sharm El Sheikh takes you via Nuweiba where you enjoy lunch at a sea front restaurant and enjoy some free time to either swim in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea or shop in the local market.

Casual. Dress according to the weather for that day. A sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a comfortable pair of walking shoes are recommended. Bring a swimming costume and towel if you wish to go swimming at Nuweiba.

Please note: a reasonable level of fitness is required for the the hike through the Coloured Canyon. This tour is not recommended for large people or those suffering claustrophobia, as you will need to pass through very narrow passages during the hike. 

As the tour leaves very early in the morning, it is recommended you ask your hotel for a breakfast box to take with you.
