What better way to spend your last hours in Reykjavik than relaxing at the unique Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. You will be picked up direct from your hotel or guesthouse, spend as much time as you want at the Blue Lagoon before being transferred directly to the airport for your onward flight.

Set in a lava field south of Reykjavik and surrounded by snow capped mountains, Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa with water temperatures of 100 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit all year round. The water contains mineral salts, silica and blue green algae that help to cleanse and exfoliate the skin, leaving it feeling nourished and revitalized. Bathing in this dreamlike environment is an experience not to be missed and is sure to leave you feeling relaxed and ready for your trip home.

Also on site is a sauna, spa offering a wide range of massages and treatments, shop selling unique skin care products, and an a-la carte restaurant. You are also free to wander round the whole grounds and absorb the Blue lagoon’s spectacular setting.

There are three departures from the Blue Lagoon to the airport at 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00. Driving time to the Airport is about 20 minutes. Most airlines require that you arrive at the Airport at least 2 hours before your flight departs, so please choose your departure from the Blue Lagoon with that in mind. Please tell the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you plan to take when leaving the Blue Lagoon.
