We were collected from our hotel by the cook and brought immediately to the market. Our cook purchased all our ingredients (including a live chicken which was slaughtered for us). We then went to the riad for our cookery lesson. There was only 2 in our group which worked well as the kitchen was small. The cook spoke some English but did her best to explain everything. The cook was very thorough with hygiene and was constantly washing her hands and the preparation area. It was a very relaxed and informal morning and we had a delicious salsa salad for our starter, lemon tagine for the main course, and fresh fruit for our dessert. Afterwards we were free to stay in the Riad to relax, but we decided to return to the Medina. The morning was very enjoyable and we had a delicious lunch.
