Enjoy a wonderful night out aboard the Spirit of Chicago and enjoy sparkling views of Chicago’s magnificent skyline at night accompanied with sumptuous cuisine and dancing under a canopy of stars. Spirit of Chicago offers an outstanding buffet of help-yourself favourites to suit every taste and appetite, all freshly prepared on board.

 

Savour your culinary selections over a perfectly-paced dinner accompanied by music and a never-ending view of Chicago’s magnificent lakefront with views of the city’s downtown including Adler Planetarium, Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), AT&T Corporate Center and the John Hancock Center. The Captain and crew will greet you as you step aboard, and the ship's photographer will record the moment for your party. Once on deck, your host will greet you and escort you to your candlelit table, where your waiter will invite you to the Grande Dinner Buffet, featuring two carving stations and a full range of entrées to suit every taste. Everything is freshly prepared in our shipboard galley and served in the true manner of an ocean-going cruise buffet.

After dinner, take your drinks topside and relax on the large outdoor patio while Chicago’s magnificent skyline spreads before you in all directions. It’s the perfect pause before the pulsing beat of Spirit’s dance tunes entices you onto the dance floor. Spirit’s dinner cruises spotlight some of the hottest DJs in the city and for nearly two hours, they’ll spin your favourite tunes from various genres and styles and let you ‘rock ‘til you dock’.

For men, appropriate attire includes trousers and a polo or button down shirt. For women, nice slacks, Capri pants or a sundress is recommended. Although allowed, collarless t-shirts, jeans, shorts or trainers are discouraged.

The Spirit of Chicago is spaciously designed with three climate-controlled interior decks, outdoor strolling decks at the bow and stern, and the largest outdoor patio deck in Chicago topside. It is handicap accessible and Coast Guard approved for up to 600 passengers. Amenities include full service bars, two dance floors (or staging areas), spacious bathrooms, flexible seating arrangements and huge, panoramic windows.

Please note many tables are designed for cruise style seating with other guests, reminiscent of ocean-going cruises. 

Children are welcome, however a child rate is not available.
