We thought this was so disappointing - it was Ok walking through the temple and listening to the commentary - far too many people to make it really enjoyable, then at last we headed for the sacred lake and sat down to watch what we hoped and imagined would be a spectacular show - to have nothing to see except for a few measly lasers showing the temple up and monotanous voices droning on about the lives of the pharoah's etc. etc. I believe this could have been fantastic with a boat on the lake and pharoah embarking on the quay and people all dressed up wandering about and re-enacting whatever the commentators were telling us. A complete and utter let down - the Cairo sound and light only a little better.

We had a great evening learning about the history of the temple and enjoyed the great light show. The kids loved the lasers, although they weren't all that interested in the commentary. There were lots of people but I would recommend this to anyone. R White.

I definitely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Luxor. My family and I had an incredible evening and was fantastic value for money. It did get a little cold so remember to take a light jacket!
