The first port of call on this tour is the Oriental TV Tower which is in the Pudong Park, part of the up and coming Lujiazui District. This tower symbolizes the modern Shanghai and from it you will be able to see panoramic views of the area including the many developed businesses along the Huangpu River. You will then take a beautiful ride down the Huang River where you will witness the cultural district of the Bund, which lies next to the river and Gothic, Baroque and Romanesque architecture. From here you will head to the People’s Square, a charming green area where you will definitely want to get photo evidence of its beauty before heading onto the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall where you will see Shanghai’s plans for the future.
Your last stop is Nanjing Road, which is the main shopping street of Shanghai. With no cars allowed in this cosmopolitan area it is a lively spot with locals, business people and tourists and you will no doubt want to return in the evening to get a taste of Shanghai nightlife!
