During the morning tour, you will stop at the following destinations:

Shanghai is a cosmopolitan city but also mixed with the architectural temples of art, exquisite dining and modern city living on the waterfront. Your tour of this fashionable city begins at the Jade Buddha Temple which was built during the Qing Dynasty. Here you will be able to see priceless collections of jade statues brought over from Burma and the fantastic architectural work inspired by the Song Dynasty. After here you will stop at the Fresh Water Pearl Gallery where you will witness the cultivation of the pearl and one lucky member of the group will be given a single pearl from a mussel. The penultimate stop is the People Square which is in the centre of this buzzing city. It is a beautiful square that has trees and many plants, creating a relaxing spot in a busy city. Here you can also feed the attractive white doves which symbolises a prayer for world peace. On the final stop of this tour, you will visit the Shanghai Museum with the design reflective of Feng Shui beliefs. You will have the chance to view over 120,000 collections which are kept in this museum including ceramics, bronze, paintings and ancient Chinese coins. Here you will witness artefacts from over 5000 years of Chinese history.
During the afternoon tour, you will stop at the following destinations:

- Xin Tian Di (entertainment district)
You will begin the tour at the spectacular and relaxing Yuyuan Garden and the fantastic Shanghai Old Street, which portray the classic sights from the Ming and Qing dynasties. From here you will be able to see pre-1949 architecture at the Bund on Shanghai’s waterfront which is Shanghai’s most famous landmark. It stretches at 4 kilometres longs and is a must for all visitors to Shanghai. Your next stop will be the silk factory where you will see how the silk is made and also have the opportunity to purchase the silk at a low price. The silk has been produced since the 14th century. Your final stop will be the Xin Tian Di, Shanghai’s hottest new entertainment district. You will travel by coach along the Former French Concession district, with its tree-lined streets and beautiful European architecture. At the Xin Tian Di, you will experience some of the finest restaurants, boutiques and clubs. You will be able to have some time on your own here or can go back to the hotel with the group.
