Satang Island Excursion

Your day starts with a relaxing boat ride to Satang Island taking you past mangrove swamps and picturesque fishing villages on the way to the South China Sea. After a short cruise through the open sea, arrive at Satang Island - one of the three islands set aside by the Malaysian government for turtle conservation. Here you can visit the turtle conservation programme and hatchery area and learn about these wonderful creatures.

Continue to the idylic white beach where you can swim or simply relax and soak up the sun. The beach is fringed by a variety of vibrant soft corals which house a myriad of rightly coloured tropical fish, making this the perfect spot for snorkelling. You can also venture into the rugged jungle that covers the island and a packed lunch is included which can be enjoyed on the beach.
