This trip was the highlight of my holiday in Dominican Republic.The catamaran departed only a short walk from our beach side hotel.
We had a beautiful hot sunny day with calm seas I was alittle concerned as I do get seasick sometimes but I need not have worried it was smooth sailing from beginning to end.
We set sail and I settled down on the deck for some sunbathing.
Once we reached Saona Island we disembarked and had free time on the beach to swim/sunbath and had a lovely BBQ Lunch and drinks.(loos were not wonderful so be warned.
On the way back we traveled by Speedboat and stopped off at a natural pool lagoon and our guide helped us find Starfish to hold and photograph which was amazing.
As I said this was the best day of my two week holiday in Dominican Republic.

enough to say the daytrip of a lifetime. with its untouched beauty and serenity beyond belief. surely this is earths paraise....if you re in the dominican dont cut yourself short it s a must.
