The tour then continues through Les Halles to rue Montorgueil. This cobbled old street has retained much of its original atmosphere, with restaurants, bars and lively street activity. Enter a local bistro tucked behind the Church of St-Eustache and renowned for its quality selection wines. Here you can enjoy one of the fantastic reds that are available such as Beaume de Venise 2003, or Morgon vieilles vignes. Walking on Rue Montorgeuil, look briefly at L 'Escargot and Stroher , living monuments of Paris Gastronomy before heading to the last tasting in another local wine bar. Here you can taste Moulin a Vent La Coudriere 2003 as well as purchase foie gras and other fine food products. The final leg of the walking tour takes you past Place des Victoires built in 1865 and now home to Paris design talent and beautiful Passage Vivienne, a 19th century covered shopping arcarde and home to the most famous and well-stocked wines stores in Paris.
