This was a trip which appealed to all the family my husband and 2 sons enjoyed the driving and us girls enjoyed the dolphins.There was a little grumple about having to be up so early so we could get onto the coach.So of course they were asleep for most of the trip to Port Stephens but they were wide awake as soon as we arrived and got into the car,it certainly must be a boy thing because this part didn't really appeal to me.However it was really very interesting to try and get the shell fish and the guide really knew the area well and he talked all the time.The restaurant had a great view of the marina and as we all love fish this really suited us down to the ground.Then came the part that we were really looking forward to.We had been told that we might not see dolphins but infact we were lucky and there was a group of dolphins swimming very close to the boat and we got some terrific photos of them jumping out of the water.We had remembered to bring our costumes so as it was hot we went in the boom net to see them up close.This is really a trip that will appeal to all ages.

Did this trip in 2001, best thing ever! Will be returning to part take in it again.
