Overview

Jump aboard a Segway and effortlessly cruise along the streets of Pisa taking in her famous landmarks including the world famous Leaning Tower. You will be accompanied by an expert guide who will communicate through your headset and help bring the history to life with stories and anecdotes. Your tour starts with a 30 minute orientation session, giving you time to get use to the Segway controls before you head to Miracoli Square (Square of Miracles) where you will find the cathedral, the Baptistery, the Camposanto and the Leaning Tower.

Details

Departure Location:

The Pisa Segway tour departs from Eco Voyager located in Via Santa Maria at the corner with Piazza dei Miracoli. The meeting place is easy to locate and your guide will be waiting for you.

Departs:

Daily year round except 16 December to 15 January.

Start Times:

9.30am and 2.00pm. There is an additional afternoon departure at 6.30pm between April and October.

Duration:

2.5 hours including a 30 minute orientation session

Casual. Dress according to the weather for that day.

Additional Information

Tours go rain or shine, there will be no refunds for inclement weather and rain ponchos are provided to keep you dry if it rains.

The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone from 12 up to 70 years of age. Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance and complete use of their left hand.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos). Riders must be at least 12 years old.

There is a maximum of 6 persons in a tour group.
