Continue on to a fauna park, where you can enjoy intimate feeding sessions with friendly kangaroos and wallabies, view koalas in their gum tree habitat and even cuddle a baby wombat. Other native inhabitants include emus and tasmanian devils.
From here, head to Philip Island for the main event! Before viewing the enchanting Little Penguins there is the chance to visit the spectacular Cape Woolamai suf beach and wander along the scenic boardwalks that cling to the coastal contours and afford wonderful panoramic views of the area including the Nobbies, rugged rocky outcrops abundant in marine life and Seal Rocks, the home of Australia’s largest population of fur seals.
And then it’s time to get ready for the arrival of the Little Penguins - the world's smallest penguin. You will experience wildlife at its most natural and best, joining a group of only ten people for a truly special penguin viewing experience. A ranger will accompany you to a private beach for the Little Penguins’ arrival. With the use of night vision technology to view the penguins in total seclusion, you’ll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eyes on their journey back to their homes.
After the parade there is plenty of time to explore the Visitor Centre before beginning the journey back to Melbourne. The personal video service on board your coach allows you to enjoy a movie of your choice on your individual entertainment unit.
