Situated on either side of the dramatic Swan River estuary, Perth is a green city of friendly charm, very much influenced by both the Indian Ocean and the Swan River itself. Discover the charm of Perth city with its unique combination of old and new architecture. Pass the Western Australian Cricket Association Cricket Ground and Gloucester Park before travelling along St Georges Terrace past the Governors Residence and Council House, historic Barracks Arch and Parliament House to Kings Park. Stop briefly at Kings Park to enjoy panoramic views over Perth City, South Perth, the Narrows Bridge and Perth's famous Swan River and walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway. Continue along the coastal route via Cottesloe Beach to the port of Fremantle. Cross the bridge into the town of Fremantle, see Fremantle harbour and the riverside suburbs of East Fremantle.Board Captain Cook Cruises vessel for the return journey to Perth. Cruising upstream discover the exclusive suburbs of East Fremantle, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove and Dalkeith passing by the homes of some of the rich and famous. As you near Perth City, cruise past Royal Perth Yacht Club and the University of Western Australia. Tour concludes at Perth Sightseeing Centre at approximately 12.30pm
