The Otago Peninsula is one of the world's few untouched areas with amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery. This wildlife trek will take you to the Northen Royal Albatross colony, the only mainland nesting group in the world. From here your guided tour continues with a visit to the Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve where you can get up close to these rare birds thanks to a range of trenches and hides which keep you hidden from these shy creatures. You will also get to see Hookers Sealions and New Zealand Fur Seals lazing in the sun before enjoying the relaxing cruise along the Otago Harbour on board the Monarch to return to Dunedin.
