View the statue of the Goddess of Mercy and the 30 metre Pagoda and enjoy feeding the hundreds of tortoises set free in the ‘Pond of Longevity’. Then take the Funicular railway up Penang Hill to feast your eyes on the panoramic views. Rising 800m above sea level provides a cool retreat and chance to truly relax. Then move on to stroll through the 72 acres of Penang Botanical Gardens, admiring the century old flora and fauna whilst monkeys roam freely in their natural habitat
