Your evening starts with chance to visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre. Here you can discover the historical beginnings of this now vibrant area. The Heritage Centre is housed in three restored shop houses and immerses you in the life of the early Chinese immigrants. Experience first-hand living in dark, cramped quarters of a typical Chinatown shop house.

The evenings come alive with the hustle and bustle of the Night Market. Stroll along narrow streets and test your bargaining skills with the local vendors who sell everything from fashion items and leather goods to handicrafts and souvenirs. Enjoy dinner in one of the local restaurants and afterwards, hop onto a trishaw, the 'chauffeured' limousine of the era, for a ride through Chinatown to Clarke Quay. On arrival board a traditional bumboat for a relaxing cruise along the Singapore River. Enjoy the views of both the old and new with beautifully restored godowns competing with the modern skyscrapers of the financial district, colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion statue. Your tour concludes at the Esplanade.
