Definitely worth doing once as it's exciting to see New York from a helicopter. However, you get better views of the city from the top of The Rockefeller centre - 'Top of the rock'.

Best bet is to keep the date open and then call the helicopter company while in New York so that you can pick a clear and non-windy time to take the flight.

Be prepared to wait a while even if you've booked a time. We waited about 30 mins.

Me and my wife had a fantastic time on the helicopter flight, it was well organised and we were in the air 15 minutes after arrival. Amazing views of NYC and particularly The Statue of Liberty, i would definitely recommend this trip for everyone.

Great first time trip in a helecoptor. Up in the sky for about 12 mins. Best bit had to be flying around the Statue of Liberty what a fantastic view, but also seeing the Manhattan sky line from the sky was breath taking.Would love to do a longer flight next time.

Top drawer. Quality views of the old lady and flying over Yankee Stadium was brilliant. Would definitely say if you can do this, then you should.
