Your day starts with a scenic journey along the coastal road en route to Frigiliana. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the sea and the quaint white villages that cling to the shoreline. Situated in the foothills of the Almijara mountain range, Frigliana is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain and boasts stunning views of the Higueron River Valley. Here you have free time to wander the narrow streets bordered by whitewashed town houses. Visit the old Fortress, the stronghold of the last moors and browse in the craft shops which sell fine baskets, linen and lace as well as beautiful ceramic.

Continue to Nerja, a former fishing village that still retains much of its old-world charm.  The old quarter of the town remains virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums. Its most famous attraction are the prehistoric caves which date back millions of years old and contain the oldest cave paintings in Spain. Here there is plenty of time to explore the extensive chambers and caverns which stretch for almost five kilometres.
