Your tour starts with a visit to the Alhambra. This spectacular fortress complex dates back to the eleventh century and is the most famous legacy of the Moorish rule of southern Spain. The original fortress was commissioned in the eleventh century by Mohammed Ibn Alhamar the founder of the Nasrid Dynasty. Situated at the top of the red hill known as the Assabic, the Alhambra enjoys wonderful views over Granada. A Royal Palace was then built at the highest point of the Alhambra and centuries later Charles V built a royal palace in the same spot. Enjoy a morning exploring the many beautiful halls and courtyards. There is also the chance to view the Royal Baths and partial gardens.
Your afternoon is at leisure before heading to the Arab Baths at 6.00pm. Indulge with an Arab bath ritual, where the murmur of water intermingles with masmine notes and mint tea. All senses will sail away in a sea of arches and blue vaults over hexagonal adobe columns. The hamman offers a new concept of bathing, focused on general body care, keeping the peaceful atmosphere and the simple refinement inherited from Al-Andalus.
