A perfect introduction to Muscat, your private Muscat Impressions tour takes you to all the major city landmarks. Your day starts with a visit to the Grand Mosque. Commissioned by Sultan Qaboos in 1992, this grand building can hold over 6,500 worshipers and comprises a huge central dome that rises to over 50 metres. The mosque is also famous for the amazing pray carpet – this hand-woven carpet covers 4343 square metres and is reputed to be the largest in the world. Afterwards, your tour heads to the Natural History Museum which offers a wonderful insight into the Oman’s culture, tradition and history.

Enjoy a short photo stop at the impressive Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace and 16^th century Mirani and Jalali Forts before continuing to the walled city and the Old Town of Muscat. Here you will find narrow atmospheric streets and traditional souks. Visit the lively Muttrah Souk where the shops sell the traditional Omani items like the Khanjars, Dallah (Bronze Coffee Pot) and the exotic spices.

Islamic dress code must be observed in the Mosque. Women should be fully covered with scarf and wear full sleeves shirt and Men are not allowed to wear shorts.

Parties of three or less persons will be transferred by private car. Groups of 4 persons will be transferred by a 4WD vehicle.
