Your tour begins from the moment your tour bus leaves Vegas.  Your expert tour guide will be sure to pack your expedition full of must see sites and experiences so you don’t waste a moment of your journey. The route to the Grand Canyon airport will treat you to a view of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Colorado River far below. You’ll be given the opportunity to take some amazing photos before driving through the small town of Kingman, where you’ll be able to briefly witness the daily culture of an Arizona town.

At the Grand Canyon you’ll climb into a small plane for a flight over the Grand Canyon that will simply take your breath away and then fly east over some beautiful scenery to Monument Valley. At the Valley you will enjoy a wonderful view of rock formations from the air, before landing at the airport.

The tour of Monument Valley is conducted by a Navajo Indian guide in an off road vehicle. Visitors love to see the buttes, mesas and other sandstone formations that are so prevalent in the Monument Valley area. Monument Valley is actually not really a valley at all, but a relatively flat plain surrounded by red cliffs, with the buttes, as well as the remnants of ancient volcanoes, towering from the earth.

You will experience the authentic west as your guide takes you into the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and you’ll learn about Navajo customs and traditions along the way. As you might imagine there are numerous photo opportunities and your guide will stop frequently. You’ll see movie locations, 1000 foot monoliths, rug weaving and all the famous monuments.

After your Navajo experience is complete you’ll fly back to the Grand Canyon airport. You’ll have the chance to explore the canyon on foot and enjoy various wonderful panoramic views from Bright Angel Lodge, located at the Canyon’s South Rim. Take a moment here to really bask in the magical geography that surrounds you before heading back to the bright lights of Vegas.

The vehicles used are mini buses or vans with 9-13 seats individual, high back, reclining seats.

Depending on the number of people, the plane to be used will be either a six passenger or nine passenger airplane. On very rare occasions a 19 to 22 passenger airplane, or a four passenger airplane, may be used.

This tour requires a minimum 5 persons to operate. If the minimum number of persons is not met on the day you have selected, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Please note: with the new Hoover Dam bypass having opened so recently, the authorities have not yet approved a procedure for photo stops at the dam. It is possible that all tour companies may not be able to stop for photos on the new road.
