Milford Sound, a 16km long fiord that reaches to the Tasman Sea, is a place of tranquillity and wildness and this cruise lets you explore it in comfort aboard a luxurious modern vessel.  The sight of Mitre Peak dominating the skyline and reflected on the mirror-like blue waters of Milford Sound is recognisable to many and has drawn visitors from all over the world to Fiordland National Park.

Your cruise will take you along the full length of the sound to the Tasman Sea as countless waterfalls thunder down around you through rainforest that somehow clings to the sheer cliffs towering hundreds of metres above you.  You will get plenty of opportunities for photos as you stop along the way for your informative guide to indicate the various points of interest.

Milford Sound is home to a wide variety of wildlife including inquisitive dolphins and seals, and the world’s rarest penguin, the Fiordland Crested Penguin is also found
