Overview

Voted the World's most liveable city, Melbourne is also an excellent place to visit. With a variety of delightful gardens and iconic sporting arenas throughout the city, the dazzling blue expanse of Port Phillip, the Yarra River, and the many trams travelling through the city's high rise CBD there is so much to see and it all looks even better from above.

This early morning balloon flight will see you depart from East Melbourne before first light and head to your departure location. Here you will be given the chance to assist with setting up the balloon if you desire, or simply relax and take in your surrounds before you take off.

Your balloon will carry you over the streets and parks of Melbourne for an hour long tour of the city's sights. Once you land you will be taken back to the Hilton on the Park for your delicious champagne breakfast.

Dress Code/What to Bring

As we meet before sunrise it can be cold so warm socks and sturdy shoes are necessary, as is warm layered clothing which can be easily removed as the day gets warmer. A hat is also recommended to protect from the heat of the burner.
A cap and sunglasses are recommended.
You may get wet feet so a change of shoes and/or socks is recommended.
As ballooning is an audience participation activity we suggest that you wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. Please note that water mixed with carbon which may drip from the burners can stain clothing and no responsibility will be taken for this.
High heeled shoes are not suitable for this trip.
