Overview

You cannot visit Hurghada without taking the trip to Giftun Island. This idyllic reef sand island is completely enclosed by a beautiful garden of vibrant corals and exotic marine life. Here, you can soak up the glorious Egyptian sunshine on the sand beach or swim in the crystal clear waters. The reef is home to vibrant corals, a seemingly infinite number of brightly colourful tropical fish, and if you are lucky you may even see rays, turtles and dolphins. Snorkelling is the best way to see the reef in all its glory and all the necessary equipment is provided free of charge. You will also have the the chance to sail to other nearby coral islands where you can snorkel and swim.
