Sit back and enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty of northern Thailand as your 4-wheel drive vehicle takes you to the Mae Kam Pong village, situated 1300 meters above sea level.  En route, a stop will be made at a local market where you can buy fresh ingredients for your self-cooked dinner in the village later in the day. On arrival in Mae Kam Pong, you will be welcomed by local villager and taken on an inspiring walk through the community forest. Here the villagers grow tea and coffee and you will be shown how they preserve their forest for future generations and live in harmony with nature. This is the perfect example for the King’s self sufficient economy theory.

Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch overlooking a picturesque waterfall and afterwards, return to the village for an hour-long traditional Thai massage. Then it is time to explore the village itself taking in the tea fermenting process and seeing their hand made crafts.
