I did a champagne flight on the eye for a mates birthday and it did feel quite special having a private pod and a glass of champagne as we went round. I'd just say that the girl serving it had obviously never served champagne before so firstly couldn't get the top off and secondly kept pouring it really badly so it either spilled out or some people only got a dribble! Well worth it for a treat though (if you get someone else serving!).

We did this trip for my friend Alex's hen do and it was the perfect way to start the evening off. There were about 10 of us and I hadn't actually been on the Eye before - it really was great fun! We had our own 'pod' and a lovely waiter who very patiently kept our glasses topped up and took photos as we went round. It was a really inspired way to start a special evening and I'd definitely recommend it for any occasion. We wanted it to be really special for Alex and she was thrilled. It certainly was a 'different' way to start the celebrations - thanks Do Something Different!
