We had some friends come over from Florida who had never been to London before. We had been looking on the web to see if there was something they could do came across Do Something different and saw this double decker bus tour which was slightly different as you could get off and on so ordered 2 ticket vouchers and they came through really quickly. We also booked tickets for them to go see Billy Elliott at the theatre at the same time. As the tour ticket was valid for 24 hours they just took the train up to Victoria and picked up the tour near Grosvenor Gardens about 3pm and they stayed on the bus and saw everything and so they were able to decide which places they wanted to see in more detail the next day. Their hotel was in Victoria so there wasn't any need to get a taxi or bus as it was a short walk.So it was an early start but they really had a full day we had even managed to get London Eye tickets from Do Something different and it was a really clear day so they had a great view of London from the eye.They were lucky enough to see the changing of the guards.They just about managed to see all the sights before their 24 hours were up. They got back to us tired but very pleased with the tour and saying that was the best way of seeing London and the tour guide gave out some really good and different information on London.They did say that they would tell another couple who are coming over to London in July about the tour and so we may have to book this package with Do Something different.
